AXA Belfast Fitout

AXA Belfast is located on the 14th Floor of the prestigious Ewart Tower in the Centre of the city. MCLA were engaged by AXA dac to act as Architects, Interior Designers, Design Team Lead and Building Contract Administrator in conjunction with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Mechanical & Electrical Consultant Engineers. The space enjoys panoramic views across the cityscape and beyond.

The Project Bried was to provide the required AXA with Cat 3 Office Fitout to a very high standard to a developed and agreed project brief meeting the specific requirements of all AXA Stakeholders. The Project involved a lot of interaction with the Buildings Developer / Landlord in order to cater for and adjust to the greater Buildings M&E service provision.

AXA were intent on the creation of a high-quality interior where staff can work in a flexible and collaborative space whilst maintaining a clear focus on wellness and mindfulness as a core objective. The use of live plants and moss walls brought nature to the 14th floor city centre location. A mindfulness room was provided for staff. There are multiple breakout spaces, meeting rooms and pod spaces designed with emphasis on privacy which is introduced into the facility through the use of sound absorbing materials and textures.
