Loreto College, St. Stephens Green
Built by Gustavus Hume in 1771, these large brick buildings are protected structures located on the East side of St. Stephens Green, right in the city centre of Dublin.
With great care and detail, MCLA designed the sensitive and careful refurbishment of multiple features of the buildings including the front door, brickwork, external windows, window reveals, stone steps, railings, and parapet walls. These works were spread across the three buildings, No.53, No.54 and No.55. The works were carried out using specialist conservation and restoration contractors and subcontractors whilst closely and carefully agreed with Dublin City Council.
