CJK’s Head Office Fitout

CJK, a very progressive Electrical Contracting Company, engaged MCLA to act as Design Team Lead, Architects, Interior Designers and Assigned Certifier to create a Headquarters for their business at a time. At the time of MCLA’s appointment they had just acquired an established Mechanical Engineering contracting business, thus expanding their business into both the M&E contract marketplace.

The Design was to include for all aspects of the business from corporate management right through to warehouse personnel. There was a huge focus on collaborative design and flexible working space across the facility.

Collaborative design and flexible working spaces

CJK are quite focussed on the importance of their training apprentices staff ensuring both lecture and manual ‘Solas’ training spaces to encourage and promote learning. The fitout objective was to introduce CJK’s new corporate branding into the facility through the careful use of branding colours within the lighting, material finishes and paint colours. CJKs signature blue was used throughout the workspaces, keeping the office on-brand.
